Easy Media Creator 9 Suite software lets you create, manage and enjoy your digital. Most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10. I recently upgraded my OS to Windows 10 and now, when I try to open Easy Media Creator 9, I get a message that the certificate file is missing.
Hi, If they reinstalled Win 10 you probably lost everything that you had installed, although they may have done it in a way that kept your programs and settings. The problem is that if the program was not attached to the machine, it would not have been recognized. Look in your Programs and Features where you uninstall programs.
If it is not there, there is no need to uninstall it, because it's not installed. A couple of thing you could try if you haven't already. Make a new shortcut, or try to run the program by double clicking the.exe. Mine is located at 'C: Program Files (x86) Roxio 2010 Roxio Central 5 RoxioCentralFx.exe'. If it will not work you will need to reinstall.
If you have any saved files stored with the program, save them to somewhere else and just delete the Roxio Program File folder. You actually don't even need to delete them. If you install Roxio to the external drive like before, it will simply overwrite what is there. Still be sure to save any personal files, just in case.
I don't know if this happened because of Win 10, or because of the way it was installed. You mentioned that Roxio did actually work with Win 10 for awhile.
